Enabling, Engaging & Empowering Deaf to Grow, Lead & Live with Dignity

IDA Objectives

Identifying young deaf babies, children and their families for early intervention and support.

To provide an enabling environment to deaf children at home with their families to overcome the barriers in early communication.

Provide training and support to the deaf babies and their families to build language and communication, address emotional and cognitive needs of a deaf child

To provide opportunities through guidance and training in building language rich environments for the young deaf children in their immediate surroundings and to promote language acquisition, communication skills, cognitive growth and stronger emotional bonds within the family.

Collaborate with professionals, institutions and organizations working with deaf children and their families to create a strong network and eco system.

Provide opportunities to deaf children to access age-appropriate quality education.

To provide accessible, age-appropriate, engaging and participatory academic opportunities to deaf children in their formative years resulting in building knowledge and the skills to learn.

Provide opportunities towards accessible vocational and professional training for building career paths.

Our Initiatives

The Bandhan Program

A series of connects with parents & families of deaf children creating support circles, training and guidance to work with deaf children at home.

Language Ladder Program

Providing Training & Support to deaf babies & their families in First Language Acquisition & Pre School Learning Skills.

The Bridge Program

A support program for deaf learners struggling to meet academic milestones are provided Literacy Training & Support to overcome the language gaps faced by them.

The Edge Program

Here deaf learners will be provided the opportunity to journey from Primary to Secondary Schooling with a Deaf Centric Bilingual Approach which will allow for students to be at par with hearing learners of the same age group.
